Our Parish
St. Ronan's Church is a Roman Catholic church in Deansrath, in the greater Clondalkin area in the west of Dublin city. Deansrath Parish was constituted in the Archdiocese of Dublin in 1985, from the area of the Parish of the Transfiguration, Bawnogue.
The church was blessed and opened by the Most Rev. Dr. Desmond Connell, Archbishop of Dublin, on 11th December 1988. It was designed by Keaney Quinn Architects and built by Patona Construction Ltd. Its low hipped roof, clerestory light and simple whitewashed walls give a bright, gathered space where the community can see and support one another around the altar.
The parish primary school is St. Ronan's National School, with whom we share a close and happy partnership in preparing children for First Communion and Confirmation.
