Welcome and inclusion at the heart of our parish
Building Hope is the Archdiocese of Dublin's strategic plan for renewing parish life. In St. Ronan's, Deansrath, we have chosen welcome and inclusion as the priority that shapes everything else we do: how we celebrate the liturgy, how we prepare families for the sacraments, and how we care for neighbours across our parish areas.
A welcoming parish is not a programme; it is a habit of hospitality. It is the seat kept free, the name remembered, the child made room for, the person in difficulty met without judgement. Christ welcomed without conditions, and a parish that follows him can do no less.
If you would like to help — as a minister of welcome, reader, minister of the Eucharist, sacristan, musician, or in caring for the church and grounds — you are very welcome to speak to the priest after Mass or contact the Parish Office.

Join us for a Cup of Tea
All are welcome for a cup of tea after Sunday Mass. It is a simple way to meet neighbours, make friends, and find a place in the parish — whether you are new, returning, or have been here for years.
Everyone belongs
Families and those who come alone, older parishioners, young people, members of the Travelling community at Oldcastle Drive and Oldcastle Park, new Irish and visitors of every nationality — all are equally at home here.
Accessible worship
The church is on one level with step-free access and a sound system for those who need it. Tell us what would help you take part more fully and we will do our best.
Shared responsibility
Building Hope calls parishes to work together, with lay leadership at the heart of parish life — in liturgy, care of the vulnerable, safeguarding, and outreach to our neighbours.
